Luke Rose

Luke Rose is currently an Assistant Strength and Conditioning coach for the Rutgers Football Program. Rose came to the Scarlet knights in January of 2016 after spending the 2015 season as a Graduate Assistant Strength and Conditioning coach for the Akron Zips football program. While at Akron, the Zips achieved an 8-5 record and obtained their first bowl win in school history at the Idaho Potato Bowl classic. Prior to Akron, Rose served as a Strength and Conditioning Intern for The Ohio State Football Program for the 2014 season. During his one season at Ohio State, the Buckeyes went on to win the College Football Playoff National Championship. Rose began his strength and conditioning career at The Spot Athletics in Columbus, Ohio under founder, J.L. Holdsworth. During his time at The Spot Athletics, he trained athletes of all ages in various sports.

Rose is a graduate of The Ohio State University where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Health and Exercise Science Education. Rose is also holds the SCCC certification through the CSCCa and the CSCS certification through the NSCA.
