You must learn to walk before you can learn to run. Taking that a step further, you must learn how to move properly before practicing the art of your chosen sport. Injuries often occur due to the fact that an athlete cannot move through a motion properly. The problem with movement is that a lot of people don’t find out that they were moving poorly until they are injured because of it.
Luckily, there are a variety of simple mobility techniques out there that can be performed every day to create a neurological pathway within the body. Just like anything else, if a certain skill or movement pattern is practiced everyday, then eventually the body will recognize that exercise and begin to adapt to it.
