Being time efficient during training is a large part of developing a successful strength and conditioning program. Choosing training tools and modalities that effectively stress the body is important for overall health. When it comes to getting in shape, dropping those unwanted pounds and building a stronger healthier heart VersaClimber offers the most complete, versatile, total body workout available of any cardio equipment. Combining upper and lower body movement into one natural vertical climbing motion, VersaClimber’s patented design is sold worldwide and is recognized as the premier leader in total body cardio vertical training.
The VersaClimber climbing pattern is contra-lateral, which is our human gait motion, it’s how we crawl and walk. By climbing in this pattern, it reinforces a better moving pattern while working against gravity. Also, building a stronger back and core while connecting the upper and lower body. Train in any energy system in a safe non-impact environment. Train full body and the way we were made to move.
Coach Taylor and VersaClimber go back years…
“I have used the VersaClimber for well over a decade. Probably closer to two. We have taken this piece on road trips, on the basketball courts, turf fields, and used it for rehab as well as in our conditioning program outside of practice. This piece requires an athlete to commit their full body. Legs and arms will be moving at a fast pace while the athlete has to keep a strong presence about their midsection, low back, and neck. Both long slow strides for distance, and short quick sprints for time are both crushing protocols on this piece.” – Rob Taylor, Jr., Founder and Owner of SMARTER Team Training
Alex keeps it creative with…
“The VersaClimber is our go to piece of equipment when an athlete is injured but still needs to do conditioning. No matter the injury – upper body, lower body, unilateral, bilateral – there is almost always a way to work around it with the VersaClimber. The seat attachment is a great option for those with lower body injuries, as they can still use the piece with a single leg and both arms, or with just their arms. My favorite part about the VersaClimber is how easily it can be setup to cater to the needs of the user. There is little to no rearrangement of parts, the individual simply does not use the area of their body that is injured, yet can still train in an intense conditioning environment to complete exhaustion.” – Alex Walsh, Performance Coach
Intense and time efficient. What more can you ask for?…
“In regards to athletic performance, the demands placed on youth athletes at the club level is extremely high. Practice twice a week, and 3-5 games during weekend tournaments place heavy demands on the athletes, especially those playing field based sports. Whatever we can do to reduce the amount of foot contacts and high forces through the body in regards to conditioning is key. Being able to condition our athletes in a low impact setting helps reduce the risk of foot and ankle injuries and overuse of those muscles and joints. The VersaClimber allows us to program conditioning sessions to target the energy system needed during different parts of the training season. Alternating session between 10-15 second sprint intervals to longer intervals for distance help to condition the athlete for high intensity intermittent sports.” – Ade Parkes, Performance Coach
